General Description:

Our client is seeking an assertive professional to serve as a Consultant to support a Federal engagement who will:
  • Serve as the technical point of contact on the IT Governance Support Team reporting to the Engagement Manager
  • Lead the team's business process modeling, architecture (business, enterprise and system), IT strategy, and other IT support efforts
  • Serve as the key point of contact to the CIO, Deputy CIO and other members of the client's IT department
  • Engage the appropriate stakeholders regarding enterprise architecture and technical matters
  • Support the client's IT and data management efforts
  • Participate in IT department meetings and activities involving the client's technical initiatives as appropriate
  • Provide both strategic/advisory as well as tactical support to the client (e.g. audits, data calls, meeting logistics, etc.)
  • Assist with other IT governance and engagement efforts as required
Required Education/Experience/Certifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline. If the applicant does not have an IT-related degree, he/she must have at least four (4) years of IT-related experience.
  • Four (4) or more years of professional experience; two (2) of which must be in the federal sector
  • Three (3) or more years of federal enterprise experience
  • Experience in and knowledge of federal enterprise architecture requirements
  • Experience supporting IT strategic efforts (e.g. modernization efforts, IT strategic planning, etc.)
  • Knowledge of federal IT management policies, guidance and requirements
  • Business and architecture modeling experience (including experience supporting business process improvement efforts)
  • Understanding of IT lifecycle management and software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. agile, waterfall, etc.)
  • Understanding of IT policy and planning 
  • Experience using Visio and other business process modeling tools
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to work in dynamic/fast paced and moderately paced environments
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with senior executives
  • Effective leadership experience and ability to foster trusted partnerships with stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and oral communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills 
  • Passionate, driven, quality-focused team player and individual contributor
  • Ability to work in the U.S. and obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
